Arborcide®OC harnesses natural mechanisms from Leuconostoc spp., a microorganism used in kimchi production. Leuconostoc kimchii, one of the 15 species involved in fermenting kimchi, employs fermentation to protect itself from environmental competition. This traditional method of food preservation has been adapted into the development of Arborcide®OC. The product utilizes ferment filtrate, which contains intact, non-viable microorganisms, to deliver both skin conditioning and antimicrobial benefits for cosmetic and personal care formulations.

Scientifically Proven

💧 2.0% Arborcide® OC in a cream increased moisture by 42.01% after 24 hours and 62.33% after four weeks compared to untreated skin. It also boosted moisture by 15.58% after 24 hours and 26.39% after four weeks compared to a standard cream base, enhancing both moisture and antimicrobial benefits.

🛡️ 2.0% Arborcide® OC in a cream effectively inhibited the growth of E. coli, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus, C. albicans, and A. brasiliensis over two 28-day periods, demonstrating its strong preservative capabilities.
