BACKGROUND
We think about vitamins as an important part of our diet but often neglect it in our cosmetics. Vitamins are critical to our overall well-being and protect us inside and out. FSS Vitamin ACE Liposome PET is composed of Vitamin A, C, and E which are encapsulated into a liposome to enhance delivery to the skin in order to provide effective nourishing properties. The skin is the body’s largest organ and its layer of protection so keeping it nourished is the key to keeping it young and healthy!
Vitamins A, C, and E are essential vitamins for the body to maintain both mental and physical well-being, in addition to being vital for proper cell function. Doctors are writing prescriptions at alarming rates, in fact half of all Americans have used a prescription drug in last month. However, consumers are pushing back using their growing awareness of the benefits of vitamins as an alternative option to a dermatological prescription. A nutritious diet, exercise and vitamin/mineral supplements seem to be the most effective means in curing most ailments, ranging from social phobias to sleeping disorders and malnutrition to obesity. Health ailments don’t stop there, the body’s largest organ, the skin, suffers tremendously, as well. The nutrients provided by vitamins have been shown to increase the body’s vitality through defending against illness and helping to repair damaged tissues and organs.
SCIENCE
Vitamins can be categorized in two groups: Water-soluble or Oil-soluble. Vitamin C is considered water-soluble and is easily absorbed into the body; whereas Vitamins A and E are oil-soluble meaning they are stored in fatty tissues in the body. Vitamins provide soothing properties to alleviate inflammation in the body, boost the immune system by seeking out free radicals and toxins, then working to neutralize them before a potential attack on the body. They can also act as an anti-aging agent by slowing or reversing the oxidation of cells and tissues which causes the skin to lose elasticity, become dry and have trouble regenerating new cells.
Vitamin A is an oil-soluble vitamin that assists in cell differentiation and is an important vitamin involved with our sight. It plays a key role in gene transcription and reproduction, and is vital to the immune system. Vitamin A, also called Retinol, is also infamous for aiding in skin health. In fact, it is considered one of the top anti-aging remedies available, which can reprogram, restructure and renew the skin.
Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin primarily found in citrus products but has been shown to promote anti-aging and antioxidant properties, as it is required for collagen production. Collagen is essential for maintaining healthy-looking, young skin. Vitamin C is also involved in the regeneration and maintenance of many skin tissues.
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that exists in eight forms. The benefits of Vitamin E include its ability to regulate Vitamin A in the body, which itself is important for healthy skin. Because of its antioxidant activity, Vitamin E is vital in protecting skin cells from UV light, pollution, and other elements that produce cell-damaging free radicals. In addition, free radicals play an important role in skin aging and therefore the antioxidant activity is a desired benefit for skin care. When added to lotions, creams, and other skin care products, it plays a role in the anti-aging of skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
FSS Vitamin ACE Liposome PET has been developed through the liquid dispersion of Vitamins A, C, and E into liposomes. By encapsulating the vitamins in liposomes, which can host both water soluble and fat soluble materials, enhanced delivery of the vitamins can be achieved.
BENEFITS FSS Vitamin Liposome PET can be added to moisturizers and lotions to achieve the anti-oxidant and antiaging benefits provided by these liposome encapsulated vitamins. Encapsulation of these vitamins in liposomes increases the stability of the vitamins. The liposomes protect against degradation which can be caused by direct exposure to UV rays and temperature changes. In some cases, the liposomes allow the combined vitamins to work in conjunction with one another. In the case of Vitamin A and E, Vitamin E is used to regulate Vitamin A which allows the vitamin to perform optimally. The encapsulation of Vitamins A, C, and E in liposomes promotes the distinct and important function of each vitamin. Use FSS Vitamin Liposome PET to convey the over-all wellbeing and health of the customer’s skin and to promote the idea of achieving the optimal results of each vitamin via the benefits shown of combining these vitamins in liposomes.
