BiEau® Actif Brown Algae exhibited greater antioxidant activity than 200 µM Trolox®. Its antioxidant capacity increased in a dose-dependent manner, confirming its ability to effectively minimize oxidative stress. By neutralizing reactive oxygen species (ROS) at the cellular level, the extract helps protect against visible signs of aging such as wrinkles, loss of elasticity, pigmentation, and uneven texture. These results support its role as a powerful antioxidant for anti-aging skincare.

👁️ In Vivo VISIA Analysis – Reduction in Wrinkles

A clinical study using 5.0% BiEau® Actif Brown Algae in a base lotion showed significant wrinkle reduction. After one week, the average wrinkle feature count decreased by 14.86% compared to 2.45% for the control. After four weeks, wrinkle count was reduced by 33.51%, versus 4.58% for the control. Even after one week of regression, the treated group maintained a 28.94% reduction, compared to 3.76% for the control. These results demonstrate the extract’s effectiveness in visibly reducing wrinkles over time.

⚡ ROS Assay

Fibroblasts treated with BiEau® Actif Brown Algae at concentrations of 0.01%, 0.1%, and 1.0% showed reductions in ROS levels by 22%, 35%, and 40%, respectively, when compared to cells treated with AntA.
