Acerola (Malpighia punicifolia) also known as Barbados cherry is the fruit of a small tree known as Malphighia glabra L. in the Antilles and north of South America. This bright red fruit that grows on the shrub is often described as being equally sour and sweet and is known historically as a concentrated source of natural ascorbic acid (Vitamin C).
Storage: Protected from direct light and humidity at a temperature of 50°-77°F (10°-25°C)
Shelf life: 12 months, properly stored, in sealed container.
This product should be added to a formulation at the recommended usage rate.
